Landwell Lawyers and Tax Advisors offer the first paid corporate Master's in the market, with the collaboration of Instituto de Empresa: "Master’s in Legal and Tax Advisory services".
The Master’s is aimed at professionals with a degree in Law, Economics and/ or Business Administration, with no professional experience and who have been identified by the firm as possible high development potential professionals.
It aims to train global and international professionals able to apply the latest legislative upgrades to uphold clients' interests.
The general training offered by the Master’s is complemented during the last stage of the programme with a period of legal or tax specialisation depending on each student's academic training or professional interests.
The programme aims to combine professional practice in the firm and academic practice in IE.
First year:
- First term: Students become familiar with the main legal, tax and management tools that a professional needs to know and master. This legal and tax base will be developed over the academic year.
- Second term: Students are introduced to company related issues and develop their financial and strategic-corporate knowledge. Such business knowledge is integrated into its legal basis and the relevant tax implications are analysed.
- Third term: This is characterised by specialisation. Students may specialise and in this way gain a deeper understanding of the pertinent legal or tax context.
The three academic terms (September to July) will be combined with professional work in the firm.
Second year
- The second year will largely be spent at Landwell's offices.
- During the year, students will carry out professional activities that will be assessed at the end of the programme .
- In addition to the optional subject, there will be a final examination in April of the second year.
