The Real Estate Sector team of  Landwell - PwC provides tax and legal advice on all property related issues to both companies in the sector  (developers, constructors, property investment funds etc) and companies with an interest in real estate  (Shopping centres, refurbishment company expansion departments, retail sector, hotel sector etc.).

The scope of our services includes legal and tax advice on all types of issues:

• Property purchases and sales  (Due diligence, preliminary contracts,  purchases and sales, "sale and lease back"), refinancing, construction law (refinancing processes,  construction law  (works contracts, architecture, "project management"), complex real estate contracts (contribution of land in exchange for building, leases with building authority, land surface rights),  configuration of buildings under development  (real estate complexes, horizontal division, statutes,  occupation regime)
• Zoning, including advice on all issues deriving from  town planning, and land development and management, equalisation committees, re-division procedures,  zoning agreements and processing of all kinds of licences and authorisations.
• Direct property taxes  (Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax and Non-resident Income Tax), indirect taxes (VAT Transfer Tax and Stamp Duty) and  municipal taxes  (Urban Land Value Increment Tax, Property Tax,  etc).
